excuse me if I am making a big assumption here but, it sounds to me by a lot of these post that people believe baptism is a means of salvation? While it's an act of faith it does not save you. Just saying.

Baptism is an act of obediance and faith in Christ. I would say that if someone claimed to want to become a Christian, but refused to be baptized when told about it, something is clearly not as it should be.

I agree, but the tone I was getting from a lot of posts sounded like people implied it was a means for salvation. That was the purpose of my question/statement. It is a symbolic act of faith, but does not save. I agree I would wonder about a persons salvation, but again it doesn't define salvation.
