have a couple of requests

ok, first I'd like to ask for prayer for my husband who is going on wed 10/1 for surgery to fix a hernia in his stomach, the surgery itself will be outpatient and in itself isn't as risky so much as the recovery period that I'm worried about.

He's a carrier of MRSA due to handling patients in the past who've had it and he came in contact with it when he had an opening in his skin and ever since, he occasionally will have an outbreak of it, nasty stuff.

2nd request is for my daughter, she's currently a senior in high school (just made student of the month out of over 1k students woo hoo) she's the XO of her ROTC unit and is going for a full ROTC scholarship.

She informed me today that if she doesn't get the scholarship, after graduation, she's enlisting in the military since she knows that even with a partial scholarship, with the economy what it is, we can't afford to send her to college.

Please pray she gets that scholarship, as that will ensure her a better future when she actually does have to go into the military, going in as an officer is way better than enlisted.
