Default Last Nights Debate

What did you all think?

Personally I think Palin did a lot better than expected. I feel she really helped their ticket last night, which they needed.

Though if I hear the words maverick or funnnnndamental one more time I may lose it, jeez.

I don't think there was a real clear-cut winner or loser. They both had their mistakes but they both did pretty well too.

I agree with you. I watched nervously awaiting Palin to come to the mic, but ended up pleasantly suprised at how well she did.

They both had some strong selling points, and it was a fantastic debate. Palin's performance reassured me of my McCain vote next month, even if there is not a chance in the world for him to be elected.

I listened to the debate on the radio during a long drive.

On my scorecard, it was a draw. I recorded the debate at home, and am interested to see whether my opinion changes when I watch it on TV.

But I was also pleased with Palin, she did better than I'd expected against Biden.

I hear you, I live in California. I'm inclined to vote for McCain, but it's not like that vote will count for anything here, there is no doubt this state will go to Obama.

Palin did better than I think anyone expected, which is good, but unfortunately for her Biden has a lot more knowledge (not just in debating), and that hurt her overall (imo, of course).

Palin did better than expected, but Biden had alot more knowledge. Biden should win the debate, and looked more qualified should the commander in chief die while in office.

Biden had the most memorable moment from last night, when he was talking about his wife's death and being a single parent.

Palin supported her ticket. I think it was good for an Republican to see her not make the kind of performance she did with Katie Couric.

i find it hard to see this as a tie, if your talking about presentation this yes def they both spoke well but on the talking points Biden had her beat. He also played nice with her never correcting her when she made mistakes, which im not sure if it was becasue he didnt want to seem to be beating up on a Palin, or becuase he spent his time going for Mccain.

I mean this is Joe Biden were talking about she was compeltly out experienced in all areas so i thought her compsure and presenation was quite remarkable.

IMO
