Im made NEW.

I have spent the past few years of my life in distress. I was hooked on a computer game. I ignored my family. I ignored myself. I ignored GOD. Now I can say GOD took my hand and made me new.

Praise GOD.

I just wanted to share with you about a spirit awakening I had. I was on "Walk To Emmaus" this weekend 1-29 to 2-1. I found out that I was just a man going to church to just be there and run the sound system, I found out that I was not the christian I needed to be. I'm not the Father I wanted to be. I am not the husband I should be. I was just a man with a yearning for more. I found out that my idea of just being in church made you a christian or even made you a better person.

WOW to learn all that in the span of a few days really makes a man think. This past Saturday night I had a revelation. I was filled with the holy spirit, and felt the mercy of GOD come down upon me. I fell to my knees and spoke aloud asking GOD to take me back into his flock. There I was filled with he spirit so much that I had tears not of sorrow or sadness but of joy because I knew that GOD was there with me. I finally came to the understanding that GOD gave me the most precious give anyone could ask for. He allowed his son to die for me. He gave me his sons heart and told me that I would now live in his house, I would sit where Jesus sat. I would sleep in Jesus's bed.

While I was on my knees I begged for forgiveness, to be a better husband, to be the best father, to be the christian man God wanted me to be.

I felt this warmth and love that I had never felt before. I am at peace now. Now I am a disciple of god. Just an ordinary man who wants nothing more than to be filled the blessings of GOD so I can bless other people in this world. So I can be a fisher of men.

Now I know that I WILL be a better father to Brandon and Trevor, a better husband to Deborah, a better christian man who will go to church not just to be there. I will be the man that goes to church to learn more about GOD and everything he has to offer so I can minister to others.

GOD has opened my eyes!!!!!

And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. And they straightway left their nets, and followed him.

Fantastic to hear it Jamey! I thanked Him for opening your eyes and prayed that mine would be opened as wide as yours have.

The Holy Spirit really touched you this past weekend, feel blessed. He missed you and called upon you and you allowed your heart to be opened to accept Him again. God Bless you and your family.
