Yes! I read them about 12 years ago. Really good stuff.

At one point they were my husbands favourite series.

They're decent, not really my cup of tea. Leprosy really isn't a medical condition covered by most of the western world, so it was interesting from that standpoint. They were alright, but again, not the greatest.

Let me suggest some books:

Dean Koontz:

Twilight Eyes
Lightning
The Bad Place
From the Corner of His Eye
Odd Thomas (several of these)

Richard Laymon:

Night in the Lonesome October
Body Rides
One Rainy Night
Bite

These are short reads (approx 400-600 pages) and the stories, with the exception of the Odd Thomas books, are contained to 1 novel.

If you want epic fantasy or Horror or Sci Fi, let me know and I can suggest some of those as well.

The odd thomas series is amazing, I have yet to pick up that latest book (the one with the white cover). Fantastic stories.

And yes, pretty much anything by Koontz or Saul (or King) the King is a win. hehe
