When God says something, He means it. If we do not understand why then I can assure you it is not because we understand more than God. Has it ever occured to you that nothing ever occurs to God? We can see from the bible verses pointed out above, and from the meaning of the word itself that full immersion is what we are told to do. So why try to get away with something else? Are we afraid of water?
LMAO because I'm so sure that when I die the first thing Jesus will ask me is, "were you fully immersed? Because if not, I don't think I can let you in mate."

Also, I was baptized when I was an infant, I had no choice in how they baptized me, but here I'll tell you what church my priest is in and you can call him and tell him how wrong he was for disobeying God.
